Brookman’s Park

Under a traditional JCT contract, we delivered 6nr high-end high value homes with Architects Alan Cox Associates, Project Manager MPA, and Structural Engineers Peter Dann. The contract value was circa £6.1M, and the programme was 76 weeks, we successfully delivered this scheme in 2022 on time and to budget.

Originally the site was 1nr house with a large garden. Our in-house Groundworks team demolished and levelled the site, and increased services supply to accommodate the 6 new dwellings. We constructed a large new drainage system along with new connections to the mains Sewer system in the adjoining road. The houses were constructed traditionally with strip foundations, Beam & Block floors, traditional construction with hand-made brick and blockwork, Concrete first floors with Pozi Joists at second floor level. Photo-Voltaic panels were also installed on the roof of each house for sustainable energy and in order to future proof for future residents reducing their utilities cost.

Externally, each property has it’s own individual electronic security gates and system, we also created a new access road to serve the properties, with permeable resin driveways for each home. Internally, all houses were furnished with underfloor heating, purpose made joinery, bespoke carpentry using locally sourced timber. Our client was incredibly involved throughout and requested signing quality checks for every trade. We were happy to accommodate this, and meant we had to further collaborate throughout and communicate with our supply chain, to ensure their understanding of the high-quality finish expected, whilst also delivering on time to programme.
